Stephen Barczykowski is a Senior Financial Management Consultant with more than 30 years’ experience supporting privately held enterprises in both wholesale materials and equipment supply industries. Barczykowski has depth in leading profitability initiatives, mergers and acquisitions, reducing risk, managing cash flow, credit and collections, analytics, financial and management reporting, implementing internal controls, multi-million dollar and complex financing and implementing ERP and inventory controls systems and new technology. He is renowned for his strategic and operational leadership across Finance, Accounting, Collections, IT, Purchasing, Human Resources and Legal functions.
Most recently, Barczykowski was Controller for Bath, Kitchen and Tile Center in Wilmington, DE. Mr Barczykowski transformed the finance and administration functions to support growth in four (4) states delivering new construction, retail and commercial projects. Barczykowski was instrumental in implementing a new ERP system, saving $100K annually through the closure of an unprofitable division, and upgrading all facets of the human resources function.
Prior to 2013, Barczykowski acted as an Interim Controller for Panther East, a wholesale distributer of roofing equipment and consulted for OnPoint Partners and sourced new clients and strategic partners and closed a deal with a local charter school. In addition, Barczykowski consulted on redesign of inventory control systems, recording keeping compliance, sourced POS software and credit card processers that led to 50% reduction in fees and audited and analyzed sales projections for a direct mail advertiser.
From 2002 to 2010, Mr. Barczykowski was CFO for Tri-Supply and Equipment, New Castle, DE. He enhanced and secured multi-million dollar credit lines, closed unprofitable stores, provided due diligence for acquisitions, enhanced strategic vendor partnerships, improved vendor discounts $100K annually, designed and implemented a 25-week integrated cash flow model, represented firm in court to settle outstanding collections from clients, established key KPI’s across all functions, upgraded ERP systems and technology platforms and assisted owners with succession planning and buy-sell agreements.
Earlier in his career, Barczykowski held positions as CFO and Corporate Secretary for Electronic Payment Exchange, Treasurer and Corporate Secretary for BA Equipment and Supplies and Vice-President of Finance at Delaware Savings Bank.
Mr. Barczykowski has been a volunteer for Deep Roots a non-profit providing temporary housing for homeless families, SCORE and Food Bank of Delaware.
Barczykowski obtained his MBA in Business at Wilmington University and studied at University of Delaware to earn his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.
